Why pay for Clarity?

I’ve been a teacher for thirty years, working with audiences as diverse as Italian salesmen, Turkish CEOs, Papua New Guinean teenagers, Bronx middleschoolers and retired folks just trying to keep their minds sharp. The teaching gift I bring to my classes is a creative flair for engaging content.

For eight years I’ve been both teaching in-person storytelling classes and running live storytelling events in and around Housatonic, Massachusetts. I’m an evangelizer for getting uncomfortable, and getting vulnerable.

My paid subscribers will be taking a virtual course with me in storytelling starting in January, 2024. They will receive a weekly newsletter which might be one in a series on the do’s and don’ts of a good story, complete with examples to listen to, or an interview with one of my featured storytellers, or a series of exercises to follow in order to produce your own stage-ready story. Subscribers will get the opportunity to test out story ideas in the comments, and to submit, via voice memo, their own live story “drafts” to me for feedback.
